RULES OF USING PAINTING AND PRINT WORKSHOPS

• Students who will work in the workshop should get permission from the lecturer in charge of the course.
• It is not allowed to enter the workshop with food and drink.
• Since the liquids in the workshop may contain substances such as thinner, it is strictly forbidden to drink.
• The curriculum should be considered for study times.
• Every student who will work extracurricular must fill in the extra-curricular work form on the “https://resim.karatekin.edu.tr/tr/formlar-13227- Sayfasi.karatekin” page with student number, name, surname, study date and entry-exit times must sign it. This document should also be approved by the lecturer of the course and the faculty secretary. Otherwise, it is forbidden to work outside the classroom in the workshops.
• During the work, the occupational safety warning signs in the workshop must be followed.
• It is obligatory to use necessary protective equipment when using thinner and other chemical substances in the workshop environment.
• When using thinner and other chemical substances in the workshop environment, necessary ventilation must be applied.
• When it is necessary to use sharp, piercing, flammable and dangerous equipment operations should be carried out under the supervision of the lecturer and protective measures should be taken.
• Students should refrain from chasing and joking in the workshop.
• Students are responsible for the tools and equipment on their desks.
• In case of damage to the tools and equipment used in the workshop, the lecturer in charge of the course and the school administration should be notified.
• Students whose studies are completed are responsible for leaving the area they work and the tools and equipment they use in a clean and orderly manner.
• In case of any accident or injury during the study, lecturer or school management should be informed.
• The course lecturer is responsible for the regular use of the workshop in accordance with these rules.
